Welcome to the website for St. John's National School, Shannon
St. John’s School is a two teacher co-educational school, under the patronage of the Church of Ireland Bishop of Limerick and Killaloe.
Situated in a residential area in the town of Shannon, it was established in 1961 and serves pupils in the immediate catchment area and from neighbouring villages.

Opening: 9.00 a.m. Closing: 1.40p.m. (Infants), 2.40p.m. (1st – 6th class)
School Breaks: 10.50a.m. – 11.00 a.m., 12.30p.m. – 1.00 p.m.
